Terms and conditions for group travel
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before purchasing your group travel package.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PACKAGE TRAVEL
These terms regulate the contractual relationship between Dalhoff Travel A/S (hereinafter referred to as "the travel organizer") and the traveler (hereinafter referred to as "the traveler"), who purchases a package travel. The agreement is concluded and performed in accordance with the Package Travel Act (Act no. 1666 of 26/12/2017 on package travel and linked travel arrangements).
1. Conclusion of the Agreement
Conclusion
An agreement to purchase a package travel between the traveler and the travel organizer is concluded and binding for both parties once the offer is accepted by the traveler. It is a prerequisite that the travel services constituting the package travel are purchased at the same time. A package travel consists of at least two of the following four travel services: transportation, accommodation, tourist services, car rental.
The travel organizer sends a written offer to the traveler along with these general terms and conditions. The traveler accepts the offer in writing within the deadline stated in the offer. If the traveler does not accept the offer within this deadline, the travel organizer is no longer bound by the offer.
The traveler may also accept the travel organizer's offer by phone. Before the traveler accepts, the travel organizer informs the traveler of the relevant terms of the agreement and where the traveler can find these general terms and conditions. The agreed terms and these general terms and conditions are sent to the traveler after the agreement is made by phone.
The travel organizer may, by clear indication to the traveler, determine that the agreement is only considered concluded when the traveler has timely paid the travel price or a deposit as stated in the agreement. Prior to this, the traveler will have received these general terms and conditions.
Travel Documents
After the agreement is concluded, the travel organizer will, without undue delay, send the travel documents (e.g., a travel voucher, order confirmation, invoice, and/or travel itinerary) to the traveler.
Sending travel documents and other correspondence between the traveler and travel organizer, including but not limited to changes in the package travel, will take place to the postal address, email address, or other contact form the traveler used when entering the agreement.
The traveler is also obliged to provide the contact details necessary for the travel organizer to contact the traveler before and during the trip.
If the traveler does not receive the travel documents at least one week before departure, the traveler must immediately contact the travel organizer. If the traveler has provided an email address, they should first check their spam filter.
The traveler must review the received travel documents and "practical information" (see section 4.3) upon receipt and immediately notify the travel organizer if the information does not correspond with the agreement.
2. Price and Payment
Price
The travel price is a so-called "total price," which means it includes all mandatory taxes, fees, as well as all additional charges, costs, and any supplements related to the services purchased from the travel organizer.
At destinations, local fees, entrance fees, and taxes may be charged, which cannot be collected at the time of contract conclusion, as these payments relate directly to local regulations or the consumption of extra services beyond those stated in the agreement.
The total price of the trip is stated on the traveler's invoice. If changes occur to the specific trip or the conditions for the trip due to circumstances related to the traveler, this may result in a price change, and additional payment may be required.
Payment
If the traveler breaches their payment obligations, the travel organizer has the right to cancel the agreement. In such cases, the travel organizer is entitled to payment of the amount the traveler would lose under the rules in section 6.2 if the traveler canceled the trip on the day payment was missed.
