Visa regulations, vaccinations, travel insurance, etc.
VISA
It is your responsibility as a traveler to ensure that you meet all visa conditions and regulations before departure.
There are now many countries that require a transit visa, even if you are only stopping over.
Also remember that some countries require your passport to be valid for 6 months beyond the duration of your trip.
VACCINATIONS
If you are travelling outside Europe, you should always check whether there are recommended vaccinations for your travel purpose. Also, be aware that you need to be out well in advance, as some vaccinations often need to be done several weeks before departure - some as early as 8 weeks before.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Always remember to have valid travel insurance when you travel abroad. It must be used in case of illness, etc. The rules for the blue EU health insurance card have changed, you can read more about this at Borger.dk.
If you do not already have a blue EU health insurance card, it is a good idea to order it well in advance, as it can take up to 3 weeks to get it delivered.
Dalhoff Travel receives commission on the sale of Gouda's travel and cancellation insurance products.
Please note that you may already be covered by travel or cancellation insurance through your home insurance company, credit card, etc. However, please note that there may be differences in insurance coverage.
PASSENGER NAMES
We would like to point out that it is the customer's responsibility when booking the trip to ensure that the names provided match the travelers' passports. In addition, travelers are responsible for ensuring that the travel documents (passport) comply with applicable regulations.
Remember to check that all travel documents are in order, for example that names are spelled correctly according to passport. Any discrepancies between these may lead to rejection at check-in.
A fee is charged for making a name change in already issued documents. Please contact us immediately if there are any corrections. Always remember to bring your passport with you – even when traveling within Scandinavia.
