The framework

The small yet fascinating archipelago in the North Atlantic, located between Iceland and Scotland, offers unique natural experiences and a rich cultural heritage—an unconventional but exciting destination. The Faroe Islands are an experience in their own right. With green mountains, steep cliffs, and an ever-moving sea, the landscape created a magnificent backdrop for the choir.

Although the primary purpose of the trip was to perform, there was also time for social activities. With accommodation at a centrally located hotel in the capital, Tórshavn, participants had an excellent base from which to explore city life and its cultural atmosphere, as well as easily set out on excursions to the islands’ stunning natural scenery.
